The Survey for Young Londoners 2020-21 in schools and college

Updated: Jan 13, 2021

We're working with schools to promote the Survey for Young Londoners 2020-21, which aims to gather data about young Londoners across a range of subjects, like education, employment, media, and health. This survey has been co-designed with a group of young people, various youth sector organisations, and past research by the Greater London Authority. The deadline is the end of April, as the report is looking to be out before the election.

Partner schools will be provided a unique link, which their students can complete the survey on, and schools will be provided:

  • A anonymised data set of the results from that school.

  • A briefing that summarises the headline findings, and areas that deviate from the London data average.

  • A presentation from us about the data, and how it might be applied in the curriculum, to staff. Alternatively, providing a presentation to students about key findings.

  • We will also have paid opportunities to support students to conduct creative approaches to research, and campaigning, closer to the election.

Please get in contact with us at either matthew.walsham@cityoflondon.gov.uk or 07896986343 to talk more about this.

The copy advertisement we are using for the survey is below, and the generic London to the survey is https://younglondon.typeform.com/to/cTSzcUWb

We're giving away one £500 voucher, one £100 voucher, two £50 vouchers, and over forty £10 vouchers of your choosing!

Last year we worked with the Museum of London, listening to the views of over 3000 young Londoners. As we say goodbye to 2020, we want to know your views on everything from politics, to corona, to your education, and your future employment.

Please help us fight for the support that young people really need during this difficult time, by completing this survey, ahead of the 2021 elections.

This survey should take around 10 to 15 minutes to complete, and winners will be notified in April.
