In London we are focused on delivering a programme of three training sessions on key themes from our research including ‘Community, Connection and Belonging’, ‘Developing Intergenerational Dialogue when Exploring Support for Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health and ‘Breaking the Glass Ceiling’. This training is being co-produced with professionals and Young Leaders and delivered to partners including London Youth, Spotlight and Metropolitan and Thames Valley Housing. NYA Youth Work Exchange Podcast, Episode 1 Authoring Our Own Stories


Authoring Our Own Stories is featured as the first in a new podcast series, launched by the National Youth Agency (NYA). The podcast is hosted by Karen Self, National Curriculum and Learning Manager at the NYA. Karen is in conversation with Young Leaders, Yash (London), Summer, (Knowsley), Scarlet  (Plymouth) and Jack (Yorks and Humber), along with the National Lead for Authoring Our Own Stories, Sandra Vacciana (Partnership for Young London).

 

The podcast explores the strengths of co-production and creative approaches in the design and delivery of youth voice projects, as well as core themes such as civic identity, community, accessibility and belonging.
