#TruthAboutYouth - project planning session

 Are you aged 16-25? Interested in youth campaigning and conducting research?

This session will be a project planning session. We will be allocating roles for the campaign, narrowing down our campaign tools and content, and planning the focus group sessions.

The #TruthAboutYouth?

This project is being run by Partnership for Young London. The project aim is to create a youth-led asset-based social media campaign on young Londoners. This will profile the positive contribution of young people in the capital, challenging the current overwhelmingly negative focus. The whole project will be youth-led and young people will be supported to engage at all levels and throughout the programme.

The role will include carrying out:

• Peer-led research
• Facilitating focus groups with other young people
• Collating stories to illustrate the ways that young people are contributing to the city, and      how they combat stereotypes and barriers.
• Event managing and coordinating of the campaign launch event.
• We will provide lunch and travel reimbursements for this session.
