
VCS Support for Young Londoners Fund

Mayor's Young Londoners' Fund. The Mayor's £45 million Young Londoners' Fund is helping children and young people to fulfil their potential, particularly those at risk of getting caught up in crime. It supports a wide range of local community projects providing activities for young Londoners.

The fund will see £30 million made available for projects in local communities. The remaining £15 million is being invested to expand existing projects funded by City Hall that support young Londoners.

Support for Young Londoners' Fund organisations
Successful Young Londoners' Fund organisations are getting support to ensure that they are providing the high-quality services that young people need.
All will receive:

Training and support to achieve the London Youth Bronze Quality Mark

Evaluation support to achieve Project Oracle Validation Standard One

The offer of staff training for frontline workers and leaders of youth settings
Specialist seminars and events will take place with Safer London foundation and other partners around safeguarding and adolescents including contextual safeguarding.

Refresher Courses for groups using the NSPCC safeguarding materials, usually a full days training on safeguarding in line with the revised guidance on Working Together 2018. Safe Network has now been absorbed into NSPCC and they have a range of free resources.
