Centrepoint has published research into how violence and criminal exploitation affect young people who are in insecure accommodation or sleeping rough. Centrepoint spoke to young people and practitioners across the country who identified that poverty and destitution were driving vulnerable young people into criminal activity, while isolation and a lack of support put them at massively increased risk of being exploited by gangs.
