About the Event
London Policy Network is Partnership for Young London’s regular policy and practice meeting to showcase good practice, disseminate ideas and hear about latest policy, initiatives and developments in the youth sector. Attendees are cross sector drawn from range of organisations VCSE, LA’s, housing associations, central and regional government, public health.
We have the following speakers confirmed for the policy network on the Friday 6 December 2pm-5pm, in Room 2, North Wing of Guildhall.
· Ruby Waterworth rights campaign. This briefing argues that, in the face of such massive systemic challenges, anything less than transformational change to the mental health system risks failing yet another generation of young people.
· Sharon Long- Youth Work bursaries
· Solomon Rose - Improving outcomes for young black men. The programme is now in its third year. Following reflections on lessons learnt, progress made based on the initial theory of change and consultation with the community and key stakeholders a new strategic direction for the programme has been established for 2018-2022.
