About the Event
Peer Research Network
2.00pm to 4.00pm, 20th of May 2020
We are bringing people together to talk about the latest developments in participatory research with young people, giving organisations the chance to share the work that they are doing.
We will email you a zoom link closer to the day.
Introductions 2.00pm – 2.10pm
Mapping Young London update 2.10pm – 2.20pm
Partnership for Young London will be giving an update on their latest release, Mapping Young Londoners, a collaboration with 22 organisations. It spoke to over 1,600 young people with a survey co-designed with young people.
Centrepoint Universal Credit Research 2.20pm – 2.40pm
Centrepoint are currently working on a peer research project, funded by Trust for London, on Universal Credit. They will be sharing an update about their project, and the approach that they are taking to involved young people.
Sharing participatory work as a group 2.40pm – 3.00pm
We want organisations to share the work they are doing or planning. It would be good to know what learning you can share with the network, what opportunities there are for people to be involved, or what support you are looking for.
Break 3.00pm – 3.10pm
Peer Research Toolkit 3.10pm – 3.50pm
We want to collaborate with organisations on a peer research toolkit, sharing learning, and resources. We will split off into groups and hear from organisations about what the priorities areas are for creating clear resources and guidelines.
Closing remarks 3.50pm – 4.00pm
