How to increase your chance of bid-writing success before writing a word

As the four-year GLA funded programme draws to a close, Partnership for Young London is exploring sustainability support for smaller participating VSOs, many of which face ongoing challenges to generate income they need to sustain the delivery of their services. Recent consultation highlighted support needs around leadership development, support to engage directly with funders and understanding options for moving forward. We have 2 trainings on offer

During this interactive, online session we will focus on three important areas:

• Identifying strong and relevant prospects: sharing tools that participants can take away in order to identify key stakeholders and research opportunities for funding that they are best placed to

secure.

• Programme design process: sharing practical ways to design a programme that is evidence-based, needs-led and user-informed, and that is a result of divergent thinking that connects people with their passion for what they do.
• Application planning sharing tips on how to plan the application completion process in small phases that are      manageable within an intense workload and that will maximise their chances of success.

As a result of this session we intend that VSO leaders will have a better understanding of the strategies needed to succeed in grant fundraising and feel more confident in securing funding that they need to deliver their mission.
