As the four-year GLA funded programme draws to a close, Partnership for Young London is exploring sustainability support for smaller participating VSOs, many of which face ongoing challenges to generate income they need to sustain the delivery of their services. Recent consultation highlighted support needs around leadership development, support to engage directly with funders and understanding options for moving forward. We have 2 trainings on offer

During this online session we will look at state of the sector research, full cost recovery method and work through an example to calculate charge out rates that increase reserves, cover overheads and factor in time for internal and service development. Group discussions invite participants to reflect on their own costings’ practices and the impact of these on their ways of working. As a result of this session, groups will give a higher priority to understanding their financials and calculating their service costs.
