'Bring Your Aunty' Stakeholder's Event

A group of young Black and Asian women will be sharing findings from their research with close family members, friends. community leaders and professionals. We want to encourage young women to bring their confidante, someone who represents 'aunty'. This is an opportunity to explore the trope of 'The Strong Black Woman' with those who are often absent from discussions about the ongoing expectation on young Black and Brown women  to keep on 'keeping on'. This event adopts a creative approach to examine a broader approach to understanding mental health.
