Introduction and plan for the coming training programme
Putting the peer in peer research 10.35am – 11.00am
We will look at the definitions of peer, lived experience, and what recruitment criteria looks like for a peer research project. We will also examine the wide-ranging effects of recruitment decisions.
Approaches to recruitment 11.10am – 11.30am
We will look at the different recruitment strategies for peer research projects, how long you can expect it to take, and the benefits and challenges of different approaches.
Break 11.30am – 11.35am
Renumeration and other costs 11.35am – 12.00pm
Lastly, we will look at renumerations for young people involved in peer research, such as payment structures and the additional costs for it.
The work shops ends at 12.00pm, but we will stay on after for a Q&A and discussion for any points you may have, or that were raised throughout the presentation.
