About the Event

Manifesto for Young Londoners morning roundtable

3rd of April, 9.00am to 11.30am, Rooms 1 and 2

We are bringing people together for a morning roundtable to look at the previous submissions for the Manifesto for Young Londoners gathered in January, and the result of the morning meetings that took place in March.

If you can’t make it in person, we will also be having people dial in to the morning meetings. If this is something that you want to do, please book on to the event and email Rianne.williams@cityoflondon.gov.uk to notify us.

Agenda

Introductions 9.00 – 9.10

Recapping January submission  9.10 – 9.20

Recapping the recommendations and submissions were gathered on the subject in January, what some of the potential gaps are, and what came up strongly.

Recapping the morning meetings 9.20 – 10.00

Recapping the result of the morning meetings in March, and the key priorities and recommendations that came out of those.

The Manifesto and hustings 10.00 – 10.15

We will be providing information into the results of our youth outreach, and unveiling the campaigning assets and website that we will be using for the manifesto. There will also be details about the Mayoral hustings in April, and what we want to come out of it.

Taking the Manifesto forward 10.15 – 11.15

This will be an opportunity to think about how we will be building on and taking forward the Manifesto in the post-election period, and how we can influence the new Mayor, and work with the unveiled party manifesto of whoever wins the election.

Next steps 11.15 – 11.30

We will provide dates for the next steps of this work, and think about who else we need to be engaging with going forward.

Refreshments and pastries will be provided.
