About the Event

Partnership for Young London opens Black History Month 2024 with an invitation to explore mental health and what it means for young Black and Brown people when they are  socialised to be strong. We will be running a series of events with our partners to share learning and resources from this year’s delivery of the youth voice initiative Authoring Our Own Stories. This national project, now in its third year, is working with young people across England to profile how one’s civic identity influences access to support and opportunities. Work with our partners and Young Leaders from Youth Focus North West, Youth Focus South West and Yorks and Humber Youth Work Unit is challenging the sector to hasten progress for young people facing complex, systemic inequalities.
