Guidance for Practitioners and Young People
New guidance for the week ending on Friday 9 October
National Youth Agency - Youth Work Curriculum 2020
The new National Youth Work Curriculum will enable a greater understanding of youth work practice, provide an educational framework and act as a reference tool to be used by decision makers, policy makers, commissioners, youth workers and young people. They also have a recording of a webinar held by the working panel which provides further information and addresses common questions about the Curriculum.
Local Government Association - Re-thinking youth participation for the present and next generation
Even before the COVID-19 crisis, improving youth participation in education, employment and training was a key priority for councils. Then COVID-19 came along and dealt a heavy blow, disproportionately impacting young people – those in school and colleges, on apprenticeships or in sectors mostly bearing the brunt of the crisis. This is a opportunity to be ‘Re-thinking local’ to unlock the full potential of local and national partners across the country to support economic recovery.
