Helen HibbertHelen Hibbert is the Strategic Director of Partnership for Young London. She has worked with children and young people in the statutory and voluntary sectors throughout her career. After spending 13 years as an English teacher in schools and in further education, she became Head of Education Development at The Who Cares? Trust, a national charity improving outcomes for children in public care, where she worked for five years, engaging in policy development, producing publications and sharing practice amongst local authorities across the UK. She joined PYL in May 2005, and relishes the challenges of building cross-sector partnerships to promote and improve services for young people across the capital. She is also Vice-Chair of the board of trustees of Children England, a national umbrella body for the children,young people and families voluntary sector. Lucy SandfordLucy Sandford is the Development Manager for Partnership for Young London. She has a background in the advertising and marketing industry both in an agency, responsible for accounts such as Yves Saint Laurent Beaute, and in the marketing department for a subsidiary of MBNA Europe. Lucy switched to working in the public sector joining Croydon Youth Service where she worked for two years before taking up a secondment for twelve months at Partnership for Young London.
