Achieving excellence in CEIAG

We would like to ask you to contribute to helping all young people in London to get excellent careers information, advice and guidance. To find out how read on or just click on the link: http://www.smart-survey.co.uk/v.asp?i=12007pgufo.

‘Achieving Excellence in CEIAG’ is the umbrella for several projects going on in London this year that aim to achieve excellence for all young people across the capital in careers education, information, advice and guidance. The project is overseen by the London 14-19 Regional Planning Group and funded by Government Office for London. Partnership for Young London has received funding to undertake this audit with our members and others working in schools and community-based settings.

The audit aims to explore the support and training needs of youth practitioners who are not trained guidance specialists but may sometimes be called upon to offer help and support to young people - usually informally - in this important area. It is for anyone working in schools or community-based settings - such as teachers, learning mentors, teaching assistants, youth support workers, key workers, volunteers and others - who may find themselves in this position.

If this is you, please assist us by completing the survey and/or circulating this email with the survey link to anyone in your organisation who may fit the bill.

The survey is available on-line for completion up to Friday 24th July. It is just five questions and we estimate it would take no more than 10-15 minutes to complete.
