Practical skills Supporting & Supervising Volunteers

Volunteering is key to delivery on a this workshop can be considered as the follow up to all delegates who attended the   ‘introduction to managing volunteers’.
 
The Supporting & Supervising Volunteers session is a practical course aimed at addressing the difficult and common issues surrounding the management of volunteers in a range of sectors.
 
What will be covered on the course:
 Managing volunteers in your organisation
•Supervision skills for the voluntary sector
•Developing and enhancing techniques for difficult and challenging volunteers
•Developing effective skills for the supervision process
•Best practice within the Supervision process

Target group:
Anyone managing volunteers, individuals seeking to develop or enhance supervision skills.
 All participants will be given course materials on the day
Cost: 
£ 98  per person (no VAT charged)

NEWHAM - People working in Private, Voluntary and Independent sector organisations that offer a service to young people in Newham may be entitled to a training bursary for this event, subject to available funding. Please e-mail–training.administration@newham.gov.uk for training bursary eligibility criteria and a bursary application form (you will need to allow at least 2 weeks for processing the training bursary prior to the start of training).
