London Councils Back on Track Project Advisory Board and the Mobility and Young London Board are delighted to invite you to a training seminar
This event is aimed at:
VCS providers of learning and development provision for 14-16 year olds.
In 2009 The London Directors of Children’s Services approved the London Quality Assurance Framework for Alternative Provision (LQAF) in order to raise the quality of learning and development provision commissioned for 14-16 year olds (as part of their full time educational provision).
This framework establishes a set of principles that respond to the DCSF guidance on commissioning alternative providers, OFSTED standards and a protocol that outlines cross borough working.
Workshop content; We will:
• Set the LQAF in the context of new DCSF guidance on alternative providers
• Ensure you have a comprehensive understanding of the LQAF
• Support you to meet the principles and standards set in the LQAF and therefore support your ability to respond to new quality assurance standards
